The Course

A one day training session that will give the technicians a basic knowledge of vehicle electrics and how to test for basic faults. Learners will also be more confident using a multi-meter and LED style test lamp.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of all the elements of the training the learner will have demonstrated their competence at checking for basic electrical faults.

• Starting systems
• Charging systems
• Batteries

Assessment

There will be no formal assessment although retained knowledge will be checked throughout the day.
