The LGV driving course will provide learners with their LGV Cat
C licence enabling them to drive any rigid vehicle over 7.5
tonnes.
The course
Mantra Learning will help to provide the learner with all the
skills and knowledge to become a professional Large Good Vehicle
driver. Both the theory and practical elements of this job role
will be extensively covered. Each learner benefits from the use of
a unique manoeuvring pad under the instruction of our DSA qualified
instructor.

Outcomes

Professional Cat C driving licence, enabling them to drive vehicles
over 7.5 tonnes. The next step for the learner after this could be
undertaking their CAT C+E licence.

Opportunities for further development
Candidates may wish to acquire their Cat C+E licence, which will
allow them to drive articulated vehicles. We can also offer 7.5 ton
training. nOften HGV's come with their own Fork Lift Truck, so
advancing onto an FLT course, Level 2 or 3 DGV Apprenticeship could
also be beneficial.
