Apprenticeship Grant for Employers

The government has announced a new incentive for small
businesses to take on a young apprentice. The Apprenticeship Grant
for Employers is worth £1,500 to a business employing less than 250
people and has not had an apprentice before if they take on a new
young person aged 16 to 24. An additional top-up grant of £750 is
being offered by Greater Manchester local authorities making the
total available £2,250 for each new apprentice up to a maximum of 3
per employer.
