Driver CPC deadline
24 June 2011

All LGV drivers are required by law to complete 35 hours JAUPT
approved training every 5 years. Now is the time to act. The later
you leave it, the greater the chance of not completing the required
training by the September 2014 deadline and risk losing your
ability to drive.
As the September 2014 deadline for Driver CPC approaches there
is likely to be an excess of demand for training over the available
supply leading to an inevitable increase in prices.
Existing drivers will get their Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
once they have completed their 35 hours periodic training. It is
unlawful to drive professionally anywhere in the European Union
without a DQC. (Existing drivers can use their vocational driving
licence as proof of their Driver CPC, but only until 9th September
2014).
Mantra are running Driver CPC courses every week at both
Warrington and Manchester - including weekends.
