Business Development Consultant

Logistics and Automotive Specialism - Merseyside

Mantra Learning Ltd is a highly performing, Beacon Status work based learning provider specialising in the logistics and automotive sectors.  Mantra has enjoyed strong growth throughout the recession and constantly achieves good levels of profitability.

The primary focus will be to increase the sales of the main Mantra Learning Ltd’s offering to the logistics and automotive sectors via the use of a structured sales programme.  This will include relationship management of a portfolio of existing customers, and business development activity enabling ‘sales conquest’ of new customers. The role will also encompass looking for immediate sales opportunities to satisfy short term business objectives, and medium / long term sales activity: identifying, contacting, building productive business relationships with companies that are potential future customers of Mantra Learning Ltd.

Competencies:

·         Logistics and / or automotive sector expert with relevant experience and / or
      qualifications

·         Highly professional with excellent presentation and communication skills

·         Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all levels

·         Sales experience with a proven history of delivering excellent and sustainable
      results

·         Results orientated, highly motivated with effective time management skills

·         Highly motivated self starter with a history of delivering results

·         Past experience working on own initiative and to deadlines

·         Good organisational skills with attention to detail and time lines

·         Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office

This position reports directly to the Development Manager.

Salary band: £18,000 - £22,000, plus commission

Business Development Internal Sales Consultant

Middleton

The primary focus will be to increase the sales of the main Mantra Learning Ltd’s training and development offering to the logistics and automotive sector via the use of a telemarketing sales programme.  This will include relationship management of a portfolio of existing customers and telemarketing canvassing activity enabling ‘sales conquest’ of new customers. The role will also encompass looking for immediate sales opportunities to satisfy short term business objectives and medium / long term sales activity; contacting potential new clients to arrange appointments for field Development Consultants.

Competencies:

·         Previous sales experience with a proven history of delivering excellent and
      sustainable results

·         Previous experience of working to sales objectives and deadlines

·         Previous experience of business-to-business sales

·         Relevant experience within the logistics and / or automotive sectors

·         Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative or as
      part of a team

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Experience of working in fast changing working environment

·         Focused, with excellent work ethics and effective time management skills

·         Good organisational skills with attention to detail

Good computer skills including Microsoft Office

This position reports directly to the Development Manager.

Salary band: £14,500 - £18,000 per annum, plus bonus
