with you and your management team how we can build a bespoke development programme that best suits your company.
Developed by businesses for businesses, our Management Advanced Apprenticeship & NVQ Level 3 courses are designed by the Management Standards Centre. These courses are developed to ensure your organisation benefits from managers who are skilled, properly trained and motivated. It develops confident managers who are at ease in more senior functions such as work planning, briefing, target setting, monitoring results and presentations.
We offer two qualifications: Advanced Apprenticeship and Management NVQ Level 3.

Who is it for?
These qualifications are suitable for the employees you see a spark of potential in –the people who could be your managers in the future. These courses are especially useful for people who are newly appointed, or those who would benefit from more structured career development. They may be returning after a career break, or may wish to demonstrate their management competence with a recognised qualification.
It is available to people over the age of 16 through to 65 year olds. We are never too old to learn new tricks!

Funding
The teaching and support element of this Apprenticeship is usually part or fully funded by the government.
However, we expect employers to fund learner time spent on the programme and give their commitment to spending time to help make it really effective.

Outcome
Management Advanced Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 is a vocational programme resulting in a professional qualification. Achievement leads to a solid set of skills for new managers and awareness of latest working practices amongst experienced managers who are keen to refresh their skills.
96% of our Apprentices and NVQ learners on this programme in 2009 achieved.

Duration
It usually takes between 12 and 24 months to complete the Advanced Apprenticeship and NVQ, dependent on age and experience.

Progression
Learners achieving this qualification can progress to a Degree in Logistics Management – a university level qualification (level 5) - delivered by Mantra in collaboration with Bolton University.

Teaching & Learning
Our teaching advisors seek to coach learners and give them top tips and how to avoid the pitfalls. All our staff are industry professionals first and teachers second.
That’s not to say they’re not professional, they are all A1 assessors, PTLLS qualified and members of the IfL (Institute for Learning). To be employed by Mantra, you’ve got to be an outstanding industry specialist first.
Our staff are ex-managers within the automotive and logistics sector. Moreover, because we are a specialist Automotive and Logistics organisation, we don’t have staff who cover a wide range of subjects from retail to plumbing and just tag on management for good measure. Most importantly, they want to give your staff the
encouragement and knowledge that will enable them to get better at what they do.
