We will help you develop your personal learning and thinking
skills so you learn faster and grow within the job.
Finally you will learn about employee rights and

Apprenticeships: ages 16 - 24
Apprentices learn on the job, building up knowledge and skills,
gaining nationally recognised qualifications and earning money all
at the same time.
Employers all over the country recognise and value
Apprenticeships as they show that they've been trained in the
skills they need. Apprenticeships typically take between one and
two years to complete, depending on the type of framework.
Earn while you learn
Apprentices do real jobs for real employers so they are paid
while they learn - at least £2.60 per hour.
Mantra offers two levels of Apprenticeship available for those
aged 16 and over:
Intermediate Apprenticeships
Apprentices work towards a Level 2 work-based learning
qualifications, Key Skills and, in some cases, a relevant
knowledge-based qualification such as a BTEC. These provide the
skills apprentices need for their chosen career and allow entry to
an Advanced Apprenticeship.
Advanced Apprenticeships
Advanced apprentices work towards work-based learning
qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, Key Skills and, in most cases,
a relevant knowledge based certificate such as a BTEC. To start
this programme, apprentices should ideally have five GCSEs (grade C
or above) or have completed an Intermediate Apprenticeship.
