Overview of Course
The LGV Driver Apprenticeship develops the outstanding skills required to be a professional Category C LGV driver. This 13 month apprenticeship is so much more than licence acquisition, it covers a range of subjects that will inspire you to stretch yourself, achieve more and enhance your career within the logistics industry.
A combination of industry leading workbooks, masterclasses and work-based learning delivered by delivered by industry experts, will give you the required support needed to pass your LGV Apprenticeship and excel in your new role.
This all-inclusive programme includes a Full category C Driver training package as well as tuition in the areas of;
- Fuel efficient driving
- Customer Service
- Drivers Legislation
- Vulnerable road users
- Safe loading and manual handling
The Apprenticeship also includes English and maths support, giving you the necessary competence to thrive in a 21st Century logistics operation.
Entry requirements
Candidates must hold at least a valid UK category B driving licence and be 18 years old before they gain a provisional vocational licence.
Did You Know?
Course Progression
On completion of a LGV Driver Apprenticeship, with experience you will be able to progress on to complete a Class 1 licence and/or progress on to Transport Management, where you can expect to earn an average of £35,000+.
