Coronavirus Update
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and with the decision being taken to move Greater Manchester into Tier 4, operations at Mantra Learning have been adapted to keep you safe throughout your time with us.
Here, at Mantra Learning, every precaution is being taken to ensure the continued health and safety of our staff and learners. To ensure that everyone we work with is kept safe, most of our courses are now being delivered virtually, which has eliminated the need for most learners and staff to come onsite. This has been done to great success, and we look forward to continuing this for the foreseeable future.
Unavoidably, some of courses cannot be fully delivered virtually. To adhere to government guidelines, we have taken the following measures to keep everyone safe:
- Provided PPE for all who come onsite
- Created multiple sanitisation stations throughout our buildings
- Installed temperature-checking cameras in all reception areas
- Redesigned our classrooms to adhere to social distancing
- Created one-way systems throughout our buildings to reduce contact between people onsite
Despite the changes, you can still expect the same exceptional level of service, and we are endeavouring to deliver as many pathways as possible to help support our learners into lasting logistics careers.
Here's what some of our learners had to say about coming onsite at Mantra during these difficult times.
What We Offer
Courses
In terms of courses, please see our Training Courses or Apprenticeships pages for further information.
Apprentices
For apprentices, we will continue to deliver learning activities virtually. This includes regular 1-2-1 video and telephone calls, and interactions through virtual classroom sessions with Development Coordinators.
In cases where apprentices are furloughed by their organisation, we are continuing to deliver training throughout the period to ensure apprentices can still make progress and do not fall behind in their learning.
Support for Young People
Mantra Learning are currently operating as a gateway provider for the Kickstart Scheme, which is providing 6-month work placements for young people throughout the country. Please see our Kickstart page for further information.
Further Action
The health and wellbeing of our staff and learners is our priority, so we will be closely monitoring guidelines set out by the government and acting accordingly.
