Health & Safety is paramount to help avoid tragic accidents

Recent news from HSE states a vehicle repair company was fined after a tragic accident because Health & Safety was not carried out. The company also failed to carry out a full induction to the new employee into their business, which led to him being unsupervised on his first day and suffering fatal crush injuries during maintenance work, only hours after he’d started his new job. (click to read more)

Under the Workplace (HealthSafety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, employers have a legal duty to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the healthsafety and welfare at work of employees. Our apprenticeships teach learners best practice in Health & Safety and they join you with the knowledge of how to conduct themselves in the workplace and the dangers of not adhering to such.

We support you to recruit and train young people on our Pathway to Apprenticeship scheme, providing them with a tailor-made programme, where they will spend time at our training centre and with yourself on a work placement for approximately four weeks, teaching the basic skills, knowledge and behaviours of the modern-day workplace, before progressing onto an apprenticeship.
