We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our team. This position is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week based in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
The Role
The purpose of the role is to manage the relationships and the growth of repeat business within large key account clients. By working with the internal department, network members and client representatives to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of Apprenticeship programmes and other training activities.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Build, maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
- Liaise closely with the delivery team to ensure your client's wishes are communicated effectively so a tailored approach is offered
- Regular review meetings with depots and distribution centres to ensure the smooth running of the apprenticeships and potential opportunities for new learners
- Cross-sell other products, seizing all opportunities to offer clients a well-rounded service
- Use customer relations management system to support prospecting and to update relevant information held in the system
- Keep the prospect pipeline updated and accurate
- Liaise with Development Coordinators and Operations to prevent early leavers and highlight potential issues
- Provide an overview of apprenticeship programme presentations to key customer contacts and prospective apprentices
- Onboarding of new apprentices
- Monthly review of accounts with Strategic Partnership Manager
Job requirements
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications
- Build, maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
- Liaise closely with the delivery team to ensure your client's wishes are communicated effectively so a tailored approach is offered
Desirable but not Essential Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications
- Experience of working within the training sector
- Experience of working within the logistics sector
- Administration experience
- Understanding of Apprenticeship programmes
Person Specification
- You will have UK driving licence and have your own transport
- You will be a self-motivated person who works well autonomously due to your great time management and planning skills
- You will be able to manage your own diary and workload and have a proactive approach to business development
- Highly organised, approachable and flexible.
- Highly professional / Effective team worker.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Must be flexible with travel across the North West.
- Courteous, helpful and ‘can do’ attitude
- High level of cultural awareness/sensitivity towards employees and customers.
