Mantra Learning announced as Kickstart Gateway partner organisation

We are pleased to announce that we will be supporting logistics & automotive employers across the North West to create jobs for young people through the government Kickstart Scheme. The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create job placements for 16 to 24-year-olds and as a gateway provider, we will be providing support for employers who will be creating fewer than 30 job placements.

We will:

gather information from you about the job placements you’d like to offer
use this information to submit an online application
pass on the relevant payments made by DWP to you (for example the young person’s salary)

We will also:

share our expertise with you to help you onboard and train young people employed through the scheme, for example supporting those with particular disadvantages
provide employability support directly to young people employed through the scheme
Provide sector-specific training to young people before they start their placement

If you are creating more than 30 job placements, then you can apply directly by submitting an online application yourself.
