Feeling the Pinch?
January can be a difficult month financially, with an extra spending over Christmas and the cost of living crisis far from over, many people are finding the start of 2024 a struggle.
Financial worries impact so much more than just your bank account. Worrying about money can affect family relationships, your ability to perform at work and your overall mental health and wellbeing.

Money Helper - can give free, impartial advice on a range of money issues including benefits, credit and what to do if you have money troubles - www.moneyhelper.org.uk
StepChange Debt Charity - can give free, confidential advice and practical solutions to help you deal with debts - www.stepchange.org
Money Saving Expert - is a website with useful hints and tips on budgeting and saving, as well as showing all the latest supermarket offers etc - www.moneysavingexpert.com
Too Good To Go - is an app where you can purchase mystery food bags at heavily discounted prices from local supermarkets and restaurants - www.toogoodtogo.com
The Trussell Trust - can help find your local foodbank and arrange emergency food parcels as well as help with energy bills and benefits support - www.trusselltrust.org

What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding is about protecting a persons right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect and promoting the wellbeing of all individuals. It is about people and organisations working together to reduce and prevent abuse and neglect.
Safeguarding issues can include mental health, bereavement, homelessness, bullying and harassment, financial abuse, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, radicalisation to extremism.
