Our Pathway to Apprenticeship programme is designed to give automotive skills to those interested in entering the automotive industry and progress onto becoming an apprentice. You will gain practical skills to use on your on-the-job placement at a automotive business.

Programme Overview
The Pathway to Apprenticeship is a free short programme that can help you launch a new and exciting career by getting you ready for an apprenticeship.
Mantra Learning's 8-week Pathway to Apprenticeship programme will equip you with essential automotive skills and connect you with a placement in an automotive business to practice new skills, gain practical experience and prepare you for an automotive apprenticeship.
You'll learn from industry experts with decades of experience within the automotive industry while learning about safe procedures in the workshop, tyre fitting, and much more. Mantra Learning will support you in gaining a 3 week placement at a local employer.
Mantra Learning will supply you with all the safety equipment needed.

Training is flexible, and further support can be discussed in regards to transport, childcare, mentoring adjustments, and digital devices.
Length
The programme lasts 8 weeks in total.
It's made up of a 5 week learning block and 3 weeks of placement.
The course starts on 2nd December 2024

Learning will take place at our Mantra site:
Greengate, Middleton, Manchester M24 1RU
Requirements
You must:
- Be 16-18
- Not currently in education
- Be in Greater Manchester
- Wanting to progress onto an automotive apprenticeship
