Transport Manager CPC
The Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage is a level 3 qualification that gives the learner the skill set to become a fully qualified Transport Manager.
This programme is available as a distance learning course.

Overview of Course
The RHCPC teaches best practice in transport operations as well as giving the learner a detailed knowledge of the rules and regulations applicable to road haulage in the UK and Europe. Road Haulage CPC is for transport managers to demonstrate their professional competence in order to gain an ‘O’ Licence. Additional to this, learners will develop skills and knowledge on business management, led by our industry-expertise tutors, so that learning can be put into practice.
Virtual learning
This programme can be completed virtually. Learning sessions can be accessed through our virtual classrooms, where collaborative tasks can still be completed as if you're in the same room as other learners! What you will learn
The new CPC in Road Haulage consists of a single multiple choice assessment and a single case study assessment. Both elements will test national and international knowledge/application. So, to achieve a new International CPC, candidates will only need to take two units.
OCR Part 1 - Multiple Choice Exam - 2 hours
On-Line e-exams can be arranged anytime with as little as 3 working days notice and is most clients prefered method for instant results. 60 questions with a pass mark of 42.
OCR Part 2 - Case Study Exam - 2 hours 15 mins
A paper exam held four times a year March, June, September & December, with 6 to 8 questions, a top score 60 marks with a pass mark 30.
Employer Benefits
Learners will develop their knowledge of road haulage laws, finance and road safety, helping to ensure a safe practice.
Employers will be complying with the Goods Vehicle Operators' Regulations 1997, as well as improving the professionalism and performance of their business.
Progression
On successful completion learners will receive a Certificate of Professional Competence. This means that they can now apply for a Goods Vehicle Operator's Licence.
